room only payment question

my friend and i are leaving tuesday and we have a room only reservation at all star sports. We used my moms credit card to pay the deposit on the room when we made the reservation but we werent palnning on paying for th erest of the room until we checked in.....

My question is....do we have to use the same credit card as we did for the deposit or can i use my debit card or cash instead?

You can use either a different credit card,cash, or debit. Disney's happy with any money!

You can use whatever you want to. Very often, I will book a room at Disney with my father-in-law's Discover card number (because I have that number to use) but when we get there, he puts it on a MasterCard that gives him rewards.

Yup, any kind of payment is okay for your balance - same credit card, different credit card, cash, gift card, Disney Dollars, travellers checks - it's all the same to Disney.

On a semi-related note, you can also use any form of payment to enable room charging on your Key to the World (KTTW) cards when you check in. Most people use a credit card, but you can also put a deposit down with cash, Disney Dollars, Disney Gift Cards, travellers checks, etc. If you don't spend it all, the remainder will be refunded to you at check out in cash only.

Looks like you will be staying at Pop Century your next visit. Your limit for value resorts is $500 (moderates is $1000, deluxes $1500). However, that doesn't mean you get "cut off" at the $500 mark. They will just have you start with another $500 after notifying you.

An easy way to keep your spending in check is to go to the front desk each evening and ask for a printout of your charges.

I'm pretty sure you can, but I always use Disney Dollars or Disney Gift Cards to enable charging on my room key, so I can't say for sure.
