Room only or package?

I know my dates and know where we want to stay, should I go ahead and book? I am so confused about the codes thing, I would love to get a code. We are planning for 11/27/05 -12/03/05 at Pop. If a code does come out can I use it and switch to a package? We do want the dining add on.
I can't believe how much research I have done, I think that has made it even harder to just book it.
I need some guidance. We are a family of 4 (Me, DH, DD5, DS3).

We always do room only...We are annual passholders, so we also get the DDE card (Disney Dining Experience - which is only open to Florida residents or annual passholders) which gives you 20 percent off of all meals at participating restaurants...If you plan on going back within a year, the annual pass is well worth the money...

I would go ahead and book the room now...You will need to leave a one night deposit at the current rate of the room...At that time of year, which is one of the best times to go, I would almost guarantee that there will be discount codes offered...They probably won't come out until end of summer though, so you just have to wait...keep checking Mousesavers.com

If/when the codes come out, you can call and modify the room rates...if there are discount rooms available, they will change the rate on your reservation...

Lastly, I know what you mean when you say "is it Nov yet"...lol...we were booked to go in August, (18-25), but DW and I got spontaneous and last week booked a trip to go this Thurs (10-13)...we have to have our Disney "fix"...

we booked a package because we didn't want to have to stress about meals, since we booked bofore jan. we got an old dreammaker, and it has a lot of extras we were looking for. I think you just have to go with what feels right for you. Have fun planning and don't over stress!!!
