Room only discounts for Fall?

the wdw special offers page. But it's weird. I can see the offer on firefox and IE but not on the chrome browser. I can also see it my iphone browser.

I can't see it with Chrome either. Had to use IE.

I'm having a strange time getting to the offer. On my iPhone it is in the rotating banner so I can click from there but it isn't under the special offers link if I try to get it from there. In IE I can't see it in the banner or the special offers link. In Firefox it's under the special offers link but not in the banner.

You can call to get the discount too. Use code H8J. Other DISers have been able to book by phone using the code.

Same thing happened with the last round of room only discounts (those for aug/sept). Looks like disney may continue doing this.

So excited! Just applied the 30 percent discount and saved $540! Could only see the discount page using Internet Explorer. Would not show on the iPad.

I just called and they can't apply the discount to the boardwalk inn for November... There is a discount for GF and WL... maybe I should switch...

I saw the offer on the website ten min. ago. Was playing around with the rates at various hotels trying to decide on my one night stay. Left the page for a moment, one back and now the offer no longer appears?!! It's not showing in the various 'ad' screens nor is the pricing what it was a few min ago?? What the heck?

No discount for LM rooms but I wasn't surprised. The CM I did speak to said that the AP discount would not be as specific as the GP discount. For example, each moderate had a different % off. The AP discount would be broader, for example 15% off all moderates.

I did check POR Princess rooms to compare and there was no availability. He offered CBR (we've already stayed there) or CSR but I passed. I'll stick with the LM and hope there is a small AP discount there but again, unlikely. Either way, it's win-win for me as my girls will be so excited to stay there!

Went on the Disney site this morning and saw the fall room discount on the "Special Offers" page.

However, a few minutes later, it wouldn't show up (just shows free dining, military discounts, and Halloween Mickey). So I started worrying that Disney had released the discount prematurely and then withdrawn it.

At that point, I called and was able to apply the discount over the phone.

Saved about $2200 on a Poly/BC split stay with my parents in mid-December (would not have done it without the discount). So excited.

I just got 30% at GF for my stay for Columbus weekend. I too spoke with a CM who said "the AP discount is coming, not today but this week, that's all I can say". I went ahead and booked the gp rate and will see if AP is even better...I am one happy camper this morning!!! Thank you for posting this so early!

Anyone else think it's crazy that they don't release the AP and GP discounts the same day? Seems like it would save a lot of clogged lines with people having to call back and change their discount to an AP discount. I know I've made 2 calls today and will again when the AP discounts come out. Silly if you ask me...

AP rate are usually a little better anywhere from 3%-10% depending on the offer for that time of the year. These room only dates are pretty limited, if you have nothing booked I would book one of these if you are outside of 45 days and then cancel and rebook when AP rates come out. Getting something is better than nothing and if you are wanting a specific resort you may not get it by waiting.
