Room Only Discounted Room, now how about DDP and Tickets?

I have a deposit down for a room only with a discount. If I want to add tickets and the dining plan, can I do this online? Will I need to also leave an additional deposit? Thanks so much for any info/advice you may have. Looking to figure out the balance that I will owe.

You can't modify an existing reservation online. You have to call. When you add a dining plan and tickets to a room only reservation, it becomes a package reservation. Your room only reservation gets cancelled, your deposit gets refunded, and the CM books a new package reservation with a new deposit. The room only discount will still apply to your reservation. Your new package reservation will follow the payment rules for packages, meaning that the balance due must be paid in full by 45 days before check in date.

Thank you! This makes total sense. So I guess I do have to call to do it. I was hoping I could magicly do it online since my phone service is tempermental lately. Thanks again!

I need some help regarding the room only discount.

Will you get the room only discount, and keep it, if you add tickets and dining later? My friend was told this morning they could not do that.

Just got her email now.

Can someone please clarify that you can do this?

You can add the tickets & DDP on later & keep the RO discount. In order to add the DDP, you'll have to cancel the room only & rebook as a package but you still get the room discount portion.

This is new, isnt it? I remember it use to be a specific code for the ro that allowed dining and tickets. Now, I notice that mousesavers dont even list the letter codes. Its been a long time since I tried to help someone book through the cro!

I must be behind the times!
