Room only discount in December question

We have booked a room in December at All Star Sports using the discount, but had to add a day to our plans to get the discount. When we put in the one day less, the discounted room doesn’t come up. Has anyone called Disney directly and gotten the one day taken off and still gotten the discount? Thanks

Results are mixed. Front line CM you get on the phone can't do it. They can pass you to GS and you can ask them. They may or may not do it. It's not automatic. The reason is they don't want the orphan rooms, which is why you couldn't book the days you wanted in the first place. That doesn't mean they won't have others change their reservations along the way so that your desired trip no longer creates an orphan room.
