Room only discount code club

I called yesterday to check AP rates (Didn't want to have to buy an AP but really wanted to be at Disney for Fall Break.) and was told there was no availability at BWI for my dates but that there was a "pin offer" attached to my household. I got a room for 35% off.

After all this waiting and considering trips to other destinations, I got what I want (wanted to be on B'walk) and got a nice discount. :cool1: Now I can relax and plan my trip.

Good luck to all of those who are waiting :wizard:

What dates were your pin for?

Well, I asked for the dates and then she said there was no availability at a passholder rate but that there was a pin code offer - and gave me the price. My dates are oct. 12-16.

Congrats! I keep getting rude/grumpys CMs when I call so I've stopped checking for pins.

Hi NPcougar! I just logged & saw your screen name, think we might be neighbors:thumbsup2. We are new to LP county, nice to see a fellow hoosier here:goodvibes

Called to check on annual pass availability and CM didn't know anything about a GP RO discount.

I just saw a banner ad for Florida resident Room-Only discount of 35%. I don't see anything about this on the Disney site. Something new or have I just not noticed it before? And why wouldn't it be on the Disney site? Any why didn't I click on that ad when I saw it? Not that I could use it, but it would be nice to check it out.

It is on the Disney site. You have to go to Special Offers for FL residents and enter a FL zip code before you can see it.

They seem to be working overtime to avoid a GP RO disocunt offering. Let's see..... PIN codes. Check. AP holders. Check. FL Residents. Check.

HELLO?????? What about everybody else??????????

You forgot Canadian Room Only

So IF they were going to do a Jan. 2012 GP RO code, when would it be released? I'm just trying to figure out how long to keep my hopes up! LOL :rotfl:

As late as they think they can get away with it.

There are many of us still waiting for fall RO discounts. A coulple years ago it was far more common for RO discounts to be released much closer to the date of travel. I think 9/18 was the fall release date in 08 or 09. We've just gotten spoiled with earlier releases recently.

In truth, we need to look at the RO discounts as Disney's version of putting Halloween stuff on sale the day before Halloween. Their goal is to sell out what they couldnt' sell at full price.

That said. TODAY would be good! :lmao:

As much as I WANT a general code they might not see the need to do one. All of the moderates are booked for my dates and any thing reasonable in the deluxe are gone also. I would love to try club level but its not in the budget these days. I know its Food and Wine, plus MNSSHP and free dining is offered. Disney might just be saying that is good enough. I hope not but the resorts are booked heavier than they were on past trips we took.

Our dates are wide open most resorts, most categories. I think they will have a RO but very last minute.

Today would be great!! LOL. If I pay off my trip (I have to pay it off by Nov. 25) and they release a RO discount, could I upgrade without penalty?

Our dates are pretty wide open also, I checked both under the free-dining discount and rack rate. We arrived on Thanksgiving day so the first 2 days will not fall under any discount, but from the 26th on will and there is pleanty of rooms out there as of now. We are already booked at rack rate (and fully prepared to pay it if we have to) but I've been playing around with the idea of canceling with hopes that would spark a pin:wizard: Not sure I want to take that kind of gamble though. We are not able to change our dates (already purchased air-fare) and DH only wants to stay at Beach Club.
Here's hoping a RO discount comes along soon:wizard:
