room only+Deluxe DDP?

I read a month ago that if you called Disney you could book room only plus the deluxe ddp for ONE night. Something about how they were now allowing this without the purchase of park tickets over the phone.

Can anyone confirm? What # do I call to do this? Do I book my room only ressie and then call to add the ddp or do I call and book all at once?

You would call the regular resort reservation number, but I believe it is a ticketless package and not a room only reservation. Packages and room only reservations have very different deposits, final payment due dates and modification/cancellation policies and penalties. You can't add a dining plan to a room only reservation. You have to book a ticketless package and cancel the room only. Your room only deposit would be refunded and a new deposit for the package would need to be paid since monies paid to one cannot be transferred to the other because they are booked by different offices.

Ticketless packages have been available to Annual Passholders and anyone qualifying for a military rate, but Disney has been trying ticketless packages if you call and ask about it. There's been little info released to the public about it, so you'll need to call to find out if the offer is still in effect, which resorts or dates, any minimum length of stay, etc.

I just wanted to follow up- YES, it can be done.

The reqs are 2 nights minimum and you can pick any dining plan.

It does follow the package rules- not the 'room only' rules as they consider it a package. THANKS figment!

The dining plan also follows you for 'length of stay' - meaning if you get deluxe- it will be deluxe for length of stay- same as other packages.
