Room only codes?

I hear that they maybe releasing room only codes. From past experiences dones anyone know if they offer better discounts than the AP discounts??

I think typically, AP have been a little better than room only codes. Given that, the AP rates this summer are not as good as in the past. Also, last year when they did the 7-4 deal, they did not give ANY room only codes, at least for the summer months.

Do you recall if they released any room only codes for last fall (in conjunction with the 7 for 4 deal)? We are booked room only for October 2004, with PHP's purchased through the Disney Store. Now that the 7 for 5 deal came out, I'm wondering if they will release any room only codes for October.

There were a few years in a row where I booked AP first, then a roon only code came out and it ended up being the same price as with AP and I opted not to get the AP and took the room only code instead.

For the last couple of codes, the AP has been about $5 less than the Disney Visa codes and the general public codes appear to be about $5.00 more than the Disney Visa codes. So it looks like AP codes save you about $10 over the general public codes. I don't know if this is always the case but this what I saw when pricing the Poly on the last two sets of codes.
