Room only change sooooo close!!!

O.K. I'm alittle nervous, but we are thinking about changing our room only ressie to a package with dinning? Will they need to cancel my current ressie to do this or can it just be considered an upgrade. we are leaving soon and I don't want to spoil what os planned already. All the resorts seemed really packed for June! Any any info would be great! Thanks in advance!

I have changed my res. often and they should be able to upgrade your curreny room.

Call Disney and find out what is avaialble.
My understanding is your current R/O res would be cancelled, and a new WDTC res would be made.
You would be going from CRO R/O to a WDTC package.
Your payment criteria will change too.
I have not experienced this myself, so won't say this with 100% certainty. But that is my understanding.

They moved our room only to a package and were able to keep our CBR room, but it took them a long time (with me on hold) to roll it over. The one thing that did happen is that they did not roll over our payments. They credited them back to the CC and mailed me a check for the few payments I had mailed it. It took about a week for the credit to show up on the CC and about 3 weeks to get my check in the mail.

They do require payment in full, but they gave me a few days to get the money moved around to do it. They were so helpful. Make sure you have a great CM to help you. If not, hang up and try again. DO NOT let them cancel your first reservation without having a new one!!!!!

Call today and that way you will have it taken care of.
