Room only cancellation policy changes?

I've been off these boards for a while (since my last vacation 2/05)...
When I called to make my room only reservation, the cancellation policy is now 6 days before to avoid the one night cancellation fee. On our last trip is was 2 days before, when did this change? Or did I call the wrong reservation number? Just curious?

Last fall I was told 5 days cancellation period for room only.

It was 2 days in February? It seems like it's been 5 or 6 days for a long time.
