Room Only Arrival then Package question

I am hoping someone will know the answer to this: It looks likely arrival night will be a Room Only Reservation, I am not sure where yet, but am heavily leaning towards the POLY :yay: the next day begins our package (BWI CL with Basic DDP and currently 5 day PH passes).... However, now with an extra Disney day, I'll have to make those passes 6 day PH ( or maybe not depending on if I add a Discovery Cove Day to our week).... In any event, we arrive one day before my package reservation. will they allow us to begin using our ddp credits, and our park tickets on our arrival day? That would be helpful, because I'd like to use my QS credits for dinner that arrival night ( credits I won't need if we add a discovery cove day to our plan)
Anyone know how this works?
Thanks :goodvibes

Cheshire figment covers the whole "using your tickets before your package starts" question. It's in the sticky about tickets on the Theme Parks forum.

Thanks for the quick answer, and thanks to Goofy 4 for the link :) kind of sad we cant use our ddp credits, but that's ok, because think I can get around that by using my ddp TS credit I wouldn't need on my Discovery Cove day for my TS breakfast at KONA Cafe ( a meal I was planning on paying OOP for)....we will just eat QS dinner if we go to Discovery Cove, and I will only have one QS meal to pay OOP for on our arrival night meal at Captain Cook.
thanks again for the quick response :)

ETA: I hope they can add my tickets to my kttw card, I like to keep everything together on one media , and I like having everything on the plastic card
