Zipping into Boardwalk Inn for a January Holiday and I wondered if people had any specific room numbers they could give us. We are booked in a standard room but would like a King size bed and view of Illuminations. Number one is this possible without booking concierage and if it is please give me some specific room numbers. Also is there still a charge for a frig to be put in the room? Another question what is the best way to make sure these requests are honored? Thanks! :sunny:

First, there are refrigerators now standard (no charge) in all execpt the Value resorts. We were at the Boardwalk in June in a standard room. It was either 4287 or 4278....not sure. Two large beds, queen or maybe king. Great view of Epcot fireworks right from our beds. Also had a balcony overlooking the Boardwalk Villas....very nice and peaceful.
I would note on your reservation that you would like a standard room with a view of Epcot. The Disney Cast Members always try their best to accommodate these kinds of requests.

Room 5308 is EXACTLY what you're looking for. It is a standard room with a nice balcony and view of Epcot and Illuminations. The bed is king sized. It is also a corner room with an extra window. This made the room very light and airy. I loved this room. You can try to request the specific room #, but if it is not available, ask for a king room with a view of Epcot.

Oh, I have to add. Room 5308 only sleeps 2. There is no daybed. Instead, there is a nice comfortable lounge chair. I don't know how many are going to be in your party.
