Hi guys

I hope you can help me. I'm flying to florida next may for a DFTW and have booked to stay in a villa, the only problem is my room night minimum.
The coordinator has told me that because I am only having a small number of guests (26) I only have to provide ten nights.

I think I have managed to get all my guests to stay on Disney property for the night of the wedding (giving me the ten nights), but I was just wondering if there was a minimum stay at disney hotels, I have read somewhere it's 5 days. This causing a problem for me as we've all already booked our villa's, and myself and my guests only want to spend one night on disney property (probs the GF).

Thanks in advance

For every time I stayed in the Disney hotels, there has not been a minimum stay. We were there in December and arrived earlier than we thought so I called ahead to book 1 night for us and there was no problem.

your lucky, i have 18 guest for our wishes wedding and I had to provide 25 night min stay at disney to get our free night

Disney hotels do not have minimum stay requirements. :thumbsup2

ETA: Maybe what you saw were minimum stay requirements on Disney vacation packages provided through British tour companies? if you book directly through Disney, there's no minimum...

WOW are you sure about that I have 18 guest as well and I have to provide a min of 25 nights.
Why is it so different?

If you want a free room you need the 25 nights. If you are willing to forgo the free night then you only need to have to 10 night min.

I am not having the free room, thats why I only have to provide ten. The coordinator said it was a fairly recent thing, Im gald *** otherwise I wouldn't have been able to have the wedding.

Glad to hear about the no minimum nights, I think it may have been on a UK tour operator site now you mention it. That certainly is a stress I can now cross off my list. Thanks everyone
