We will be calling tomorrow morning to try and get BCV in June- studio- what location should we request:confused3

I've never found one *location* within BCV to be that much better than any other. But units have different balcony sizes, so our request is always, "big balcony".

There are no great views at BCV
I personally happen to prefer the quiet pool because it offers the most activity if your into people watching, I've had pretty much all of them except for the courtyard view which would be my least favorite. I also always avoid the 1st floor and try to get as close as possible to one of the two elevator locations. If you will have a car being near the parking lot is a plus if not request something closer to the main BC resort, which would be closer to the bus stop and a little shorter walk to EPCOT. A woods view might get you some views of EPCOT fireworks, the upper floors would be best.

What location are you interested in?

No clue, this will be our first stay there. We are calling tomorrow to try and get a studio for May 30th- June 2nd, then moving to Kidani for June 2nd- June 7th.

As posted above, there isn't much to pick from.

Pool, Courtyard, or Epcot view requests.

Pool is the quiet pool.

Epcot is on the side towards Epcot, you may see a little bit of Epcot or trees and a road.

Courtyard is a view of the woods, or the grass area buy the main entrance.

Here are some pictures to give you an idea of the area.

We asked for a "higher floor" and "woods view." hahaha We knew that the views weren't great to begin with before we went so we weren't expecting much. BCV is an amazing resort though, trust me, the view won't really be an issue. Our "woods" view was just that... we also other parts of the BCV buildings and a tad bit of Epcot (along with the Illuminations fireworks that were high enough to see over the trees). It was an enjoyable trip overall, and very relaxing. Have fun!

FYI: quiet pool is a misnomer it is definitely not quiet and the bright lights around it will light your room at night.

it is a small building..........first floor is convenient, both to lobby and parking lot.

Great resort, but the DVC part is small enough that I've never bother to ask or a special room, and haven't had any issues with the ones I've gotten.

We have requested pool view and woods or Epcot view and received both. We also ask for 3rd floor and above. We prefer as much of an Epcot view as we can get, but we are happy with anything as long as we're there.

I have never made a request because there is not much of a view of anything when you stay there. I do like it when we get a pool view though.

I had a studio last week when I was there, 527. Right ff the elevator with a view of Epcot fireworks everynight. It was top floor and very quite.
Last year I had top floor facing the courtyard between BCV & BC that was also nice and quite. Both of these location I thought were great.

OP! Did you get your room at BCV???

we were wanting to stay at BCV from 5/30 - 6/3 and then move to Kidani from 6/3 - 6/8, they didn't have BCV for 5/30 only 5/31- 6/3. so we are staying at our home resort, Kidani, from 5/30- 6/8. waitlisted for BCV for 5/30- 6/3. keeping our fingers crossed. If it doesn't come thru, oh well, happy with Kidani the whole time.:thumbsup2
