room location question at PBH

We have 2 connecting rooms in the Garden View Wing at PBH in 2 weeks. We'd like to be as close as possible to the Boat Dock (which I realize is still a walk away). Should I call and request room closest to the lobby? From the map I'm guessing that that location would put us the closest.

Ask for a West Wing room. There are exits along the West WIng that will exit you right near the boat dock.

We were in the wing that slits the Villa Pool with the Beach pool (Villa Wing?)

Took a full day for us to figure out if you exit at the beach pool, there is shortcut to the dock (walking all the way back to the lobby then out to the ground floor seemed like MILES). So that is your second choice to asking for west wing.

First time we went, we were in the West Wing and we had club level. Took us a few days to figure out all the shortcuts. Of course we never asked anyone. Now I have noticed that there are lots of signs but you really have to watch for them as they look like they are just part of the scenery.
