I know a few years back someone had posted a floor plan link on the Beach Club villas but now we are staying at the BWV and were hoping someone would know of another link so we can ask for specific rooms. I know there is now guarentee but it couldn't hurt either ... Please if you know of one let us know....
Thanks!!!!!

I don't have the floor plan you are after, but the layout is almost exactly the same between BCV & BWV. If I recall right, the major difference is the location of the door to the 2nd BR.

If you request a specific room, the room assigner will have absolutely no idea of what you want if that room isn't available for your entire stay. Just give a general description of what you want. Village Green, quiet pool, Luna Park, etc. High floor, low floor.

Excellent advice. Also, what the OP is referring to is an incomplete and outdated spreadsheet compilation of brief BWV room reports that someone posted here in the late 1990s. :surfweb:

I have it and as a seasoned BWV owner can state that it's next to useless- many of the reports are inaccurate (imply there are views when they're aren't, omit details like lockoff vs. non-lockoff, etc.) and scores of villas in the resort aren't even included. Or put another way, trying to use it to cherry pick the "best" villa is a total waste of time.

Bottom line: forget asking for a specific villa and instead determine (within the confines of your category, i.e. standard vs. preferred/BW view) what is important, pick the top two and submit those as requests at the time of reservation (ones added later don't carry the same weight with the room assigners).

Good advice.

So, what's a good location for a standard view studio at BWV?

Close to the elevator?
Close to a stairwell?
Higher floor/lower floor?

For standard view, I always request top floor, across from the bus stop. Nice view of the Epcot fireworks and far enough away from the noise of the valet parking entrance.
