I was hoping someone could help me with a room layout question. Two of my girlfriends and I are going on our annual "girl's trip" and were hoping to have the beds separated, so we would have 2 single beds and a pull out sofa - for a total of 3 beds. I read somewhere that Disney would separate the beds for you, but I don't know who to ask to do this.

Ask your room host, hostess, they can pull the bed apart for you.

The sofa is not a pull-out sofa. It's more of a "flip over" sofa. It turns into a single bed that's along the wall, just like sofa.

The sofa is kind of hard to describe. When I was little, my grandparents had a couch that worked something like it. Basically, the whole thing flips around. I think the seat part slides under, the back part folds down, and you sleep on the back side of the back of the couch. This trip we dropped countless things under the silly thing, so I was constantly pulling on the back to reach down and get out hairbrushes, pin lanyards, KTTW cards, etc.

It's pretty comfortable, at least if you don't mind a firm mattress.

Like a futon?

Yes, something like a futon. The steward/stewardess will be more than happy to separate the beds for you.
