Room Keys still same as Park Tickets???

Hey guys,
Just wondering about this....I know in the past when we stay onsite we used our room key as our park ticket.....(the length of stay pass) I was just wondering if this is still how it works now with the MYW tickets??? Just curious if anyone knows this....we booked a AAA package and I have also booked disney packages in the past and the room keys and tickets were the same thing......Thanks for any help.....Kristy

Can't tell you for sure...we got AP's this year. But wanted to warn you that the Bio scans at the park entrances really slow things up. Plan on an extra 10 mins. min. over anything you have done in the past.

Not sure if it was due to the Pres. Day weekend crowds, but it took a LONG time to get into the park - even on early entry days. In the afternoon at MK it took even LONGER.

We were discussing the same thing. In February we only used 3 days out of our 7 day tickets issued at AS Movies. When we return and stay at another resort (hopefully DVC villas), will we have to show our new room keys along with the leftover MYW tickets to access EMH? This will slow things down even moreso!

The finger scans really seemed to slow down the entry process. Hopefully, they'll start to staff all turnstiles to cut down on the wait.

All you need to show is your resort ID. It doesn't matter what kind of ticket you use for park admission to EMH so no one will check it. No one but the turnstile will physically "look" at your ticket. You insert your old resort ID in, do the finger scan, and you're in.
