Not sure where the right place is for this, but...

I'm fairly certain I can buy park tix at my resort, am I right?

If I buy them at check in, do I get the "advanced purchase" price?

Can you buy a regular hopper pass at the resort and have it put on your room key?

AND...if you can put them on your room key, is it possible to use different credit cards to buy the tickets?

example: my friend and I are traveling together...I'm paying for the room and my tix on my card, she would like to get her tix on her card.

If the tix at the resort are the same as the gate, I'll probably just buy them in advance, but anything that would get the two pieces of plastic down to one would be welcome.

Yes you can purchase your park tickets at your resort. I think you can use a different credit card for the purchase as well. I am not too sure exactly which tickets they sell though. I am a Fl resident & I know they do not sell Fl resident's there. The price you pay at the resort will be the same as the gate price. What you can do is call CRO & ask them directly. You might even be able to purchase them thru CRO & get the advance purchase discount..not sure

You're right! The only thing you can't buy at your resort are Annual Passes.

Hmmmm....this I'm not certain about. I don't THINK you'll get the advance price, but I'd wait for someone with more experience on that one.

Yes. I'm fairly certain that ANY admission you buy at check in will be encoded onto your room key.

I believe so. I'd call the front desk and ask though, or wait for someone here who's had experience.

I know what you mean! If you still don't get any definitive answers, I'd post on Theme Park Attractions and Strategies. GoldenOldie posts over there and I don't think there's anything about admission that she DOESN'T know about admission media.

We did this on our last trip. Yes you can buy the tix at the resort and have them put on your room key. Yes you can use different credit card to pay for them. They will encode you room key and tix together after all the check-in paper work is done. The only NO to your questions is the advance purchase price. You do not get the discount. hope this helps

Just an FYI....

....while you may be able to pay for your tickets with separate credit cards, I don't think they will let you put 2 separate credit cards down for room charging. Or at least this is my understanding. So you may want to be aware of that in case you decide to put a cc down for room charging.

I could be wrong but I think that's how they work it. If anyone knows for sure, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just something you may not have thought of;)

You can buy most any ticket at the Resort. Only exception are discounted tickets, and annual passes. Resorts do however have the Ultimate Park Hopper ticket, which is a length of stay pass.

Any park ticket that you buy at Check-In can be encoded onto your room key. However, that doesn't always mean that it WILL be encoded onto the room key. Depending on the situation, the CM might make it a separate card. For example, if a guest is purchasing a 5 day Park Hopper, and I dont think they will be using all the days, I will make them separate, so that they can save the cards for a later trip.

Prices paid at the front desk will be the same as at the gate. No discounts. You can pay for the tickets with as many different forms of payment as you wish, however, after the end of the transaction, only one credit card can remain on the reservation for the charging privledges and/or express checkout. Make sure to specify which one you wish to remain.

If you buy the Ultimate Park Hopper (Length of Stay) in advance they will be encoded onto your room key, as they are resort based tickets.

However, not all advance tickets will be like that. With regular park hoppers and whatnot you have to go to the Will Call window at the parks to pick them up, and they will be separate.
