Room key question.

I know that your room key has all of your package info. etc. on it, but can you ask for an additional room access only key that wouldn't have the info. on it except what is required to get into your room?

IMO I would think so. They have the ability to program those things for tickets, spending limits for different family members, etc. I'm sure they can do something as simple as putting room only access on those things.

Since Disney already gave you a key for every member of your party, they will not give you another key for room access only. They will ask who it is for and add that person to your package: tickets, dining, and all. There is no reason you should need a card for that purpose, all though I know it can be done since you can book room only with no tickets or room charge privileges.

Ha ha, no not sneaking anyone in, we're traveling in a party of 3 with one person in a room alone, but would like the others to have access to this room for showering convenience etc. It's not a big deal if they can't, but I did think there would be a security issue with it. Thanks for your help.

I would suggest requesting connecting rooms so everyone would have access to both bathrooms without needing additional KTTW cards.

Yes you can.The keys they give they kids do not have charging ability-we request that.And my Dad lost his once and they replaced them no questions.But to answer your question yes you can get them.

They will only give Room keys to those on the Ressie. Now you can add up to 4 to a room and get keys cut for that. But they would all have to be on the same package and that might cost you. Also they will only allow your Name to be on one Room at a time so you would have to use different names for the other rooms as well.

They won't give extra Keys to the rooms as they are used for EMH and such . You might try to explian why you want them and get a CM to give some Pixie Dust but i would be surprised if they do.

To answer your questionL Yes they can and probably would give you an extra key to the other room on your reservation. We've done this before for the same reason you mentioned, and had no problems. Have fun!

When you ask nicely, and, have a good reason, CMs can often find their pixie dust.

yes this is not a problem. just explain why you need the extra key for room access. I did this many times for guests when I worked there.

Great! I wanted an extra key for my DS, he is 13, and we don't want him carrying around more then just his key. He'd loose it for sure, don't want the hassel...................
