Room Inventory available if I add a day?

Greetings all

I was looking at two sets of dates, Sun Apr 18-Friday Apr 23 and then Mon Apr 19 - Friday April 23. So just added the Sunday day. When Sunday is included, there are Standard Contemporary rooms available at an Annual Passholder discount but when I remove the Sunday and just do Monday to Friday, there are no Standard Contemporary rooms available at the AP discount.

Since is it the same time period just one less day it can't be that there isn't room inventory available, and the offer isn't limited to a number of days at the front

Is the system sophisticated enough that they can exclude discounts targeted toward a room tier within a given set of days?

Yes they have all kinds of algorithms for booking rooms. And most of them are not spelled out up front.

Thanks - this helps me a lot - I thought staying Mon-Fri would be cheaper but it actually ends up being cheaper to add a day. Good to know to be more flexible with dates in the future
