Room Guarantee?? What's that mean?

Hello,

I made a ressie for our November Magic trip 13 months ago. On my paperwork there is no room number, it says guarantee. Now because of cost we booked a cat 12 room, does this GTY mean that I might get bumped? If I do, how do I know if the new "upgraded" room is one of the notorious "noisy" rooms? Should I accept such an upgrade? When will I find out my room assignment?

GTY means you are guarnanted a room in the cat. you booked, but not any specific room. Upgrades are just random, rare events, with no rhyme or reason as to who gets them. You will find out your room assignment when you get your documents.
