I have a friend who would like to use our DVC points this year to try the "Magical Experience". Unfortunately, they have 5 family members: Father, Mother, and 3 kids, ages 10, 9, and 7. DVC informed us they would need to rent a 2 bedroom, but this sounded like too much room to us.

Does anyone else have a suggestion?

Kidani, the new building opening up at Animal Kingdom Lodge in May, can sleep 5 in a one-bedroom. 2 people in the master bedroom and 3 people in the living room (2 in a pull-out sleeper sofa and 1 on a pull-out sleeper chair). The other DVC resorts don't have the sleeper chair in their one-bedrooms. Bay Lake Tower will offer this when it opens also.

AKV Jambo House 1 bedroom villas except for the values will also sleep 5.

Occupancy is a hot topic here on the DVC Boards. Discussion of the subject is limited to the DVC Occupancy Thead.

You may continue the discussion there, if you wish.
