Room for Fifth Wheel and Tent?

Hi fellow FW lovers! We are in the process of planning our Christmas trip to Disney this year. It's been two years since our last visit, so we are in withdrawal for sure. We stayed in the 800 loop and loved everything about it. We have our 35 ft fifth wheel, and the boys are old enough now that they want to sleep outside in a tent by themselves. Does anybody know which loop is best to accommodate both the camper and a tent? Thanks everybody...

FFstreetDoc,

Do you have a reservation yet? Some folks have reported the lack of available sites during Christmas week. Only Partials were available and that was with the 30-day view arriving 12/22 (same story for a 30-day view arriving 12/1). Are you going sooner than that? Maybe for less than a week?

The type of site you can get a reservation for will dictate the loops you can consider. So let us know if you already have a reservation and what type it is. If you don't, you need to try to secure one.

Good luck!

PS - generally speaking a regular-to-small tent will fit on a sand pad with a 35 ft trailer in the Preferred or Fulls (might be tight). A Premium (like the 800 loop you stayed in last time) has no sand pad so the tent either goes on the concrete or off the pad which may or may not be convenient/comfortable for the tent. But your chances of success would be high IMO.

We are about 32 feet long. We always find a place to put up a 10X10 canopy. No matter what type of site we've been in. I'd say the same would go for a tent. :santa:
