Can anyone describe for me the one bedroom suites at BWV. My DH and I stayed in a studio room last oct and we loved everything about BWV. Now we want to take the kids (DS 15 and DD 13) Could we get by with a one bedroom? Thanks for all your help!

Here is what the DVC website says about the 1 bedroom hope this helps :)

One-Bedroom & Two-Bedroom Villas One-Bedroom Villas have a master suite, living room, kitchen, and private porch or balcony. Accommodates four adults plus one child under age three in a crib.
Two-Bedroom Villas provide an additional bedroom with a private bath, one queen-size bed, and a double sleeper sofa. Accommodates eight adults plus one child under age three in a crib.

Both feature:
Master suite with a king-size bed and private bath with a whirlpool tub
Fully equipped kitchen
Ceiling fans in living room and each bedroom
Stack-style washer and dryer
Color cable television with VCR in living room and color television in each bedroom
Queen-size sleeper sofa in living room
Private balcony or porch

The only caveat that I have for you (we absolutely LOVE the BWV) is the layout of the beds in the 1 bedroom. There will be a king size bed in the bedroom and a queen size pullout sofa in the living room. The DVC resorts do not supply cots/rollways or extra bedding.

Assuming your DS and DD would not want to share a bed, you might consider bringing an air mattress or sleeping bag along.

Enjoy your trip!

Our family of 4 has stayed in a 1-bedroom villa before and we're going back in August. I don't have any pictures of the villas posted on my site, yet, but you can find some at ourlaughingplace. Here is a LINK .

hi: CarolMN is right; if the teens wouldn't be comfortable sharing the sleeper, bring an air mattress. this is something we've done a few times. a full-size air mattress will make walking in the living room kind of tight when the bed is pulled out. another thing our youngest has done is to simply take the extra pillows from the sofabed as well as the chair pillows and make a mattress from that. the walk-in closet is almost large enough for a mattress too. you'll be spoiled with a 1br though, it's about twice as large as the studio. my dh refuses to stay in a studio any more.
