Room damage at Coronado Springs

We were supposed to check into Coronado Springs on Sunday, April 24, 2022. We were eventually bumped to Port Orleans Riverside. We were told that there were no rooms available at Coronado Springs (nor anywhere else) since some recent guests had damaged rooms at Coronado Springs, and that the room we were supposed to have had was one of the damaged rooms.

Does anybody know exactly what happened? All we were told was that some rooms had been flooded. Does anybody know more information? Did this have anything to do with the cheerleading / dance competitions?
