Room Credit to Gift Card

I was able to move my room only reservation from CSR to Pop to save a few dollars and have Skyliner access before we move on to our DVC stay (First stay at BCV and VGF). The savings is being applied as a room credit to our Pop room. Can I ask the front desk to put this credit on a gift card? I'm sure I will have no problem spending the amount before our 3 night stay is completed but since I don't believe you can charge mobile order to your room it would go faster if I had it on a gift card.

I don't believe so. If you don't spend the entire credit prior to checking out, they will simply put the rest of that credit back onto the original form of payment that you used for the room. Perhaps you can mobile order with the cc you used to pay for the room? That way, the unspent resort credit would simply "pay off" the mobile orders once the credit goes back on your card. I hope that makes sense.

I can confirm that this is what happens. The refund goes to the form of payment.
