Room condition at Royal Pacific

Our room was just terrible. It had very dirty carpeting which was frayed near the metal stripping. There was one small closet with two side by side doors. The maid service was not even worth having. I have stayed there numerous times and this room and section was horrible. It was 1404.

did you speak to management/housekeeping re these issues...hope this is a fluke.

as to 'wear & tear' issues, call me jaded, but i do then to expect a few minor things amiss @ most properties, unless it's just been rehabed.

hope you enjoyed your stay, for the most part...any activity @ BTF?

I truly think that the maid service needs to be stepped up. We asked for turn down and they did that around 2P.M. when the intially cleaned the room and left the bedspreads folded down. They did both at one time. The rug was filty and I think they need to do some rehab.

I heard that rehab is going to start sometime later this year. When we were there last March, the room was starting to show some wear and tear. There were a few stains on the carpet and the furniture was scuffed a bit. I didn't really think much of it since this seems to be the norm these days unless you are in a brand new hotel.

Isn't that so, people really abuse the rooms and also the rental cars.
