If I put my Visa check card down at check-in for room charging, how much of a hold do they put on your account. I know at WDW they don't put a hold, but I think at Universal it's different. Anybody know?
You could put down a cash deposit at the time of check in. This in my opinion is a much better option because you will not have someone dipping into your checking account. You can put down as much or as little as you want. The difference between your deposit and what you spend will be refunded to you at check out.
If you want internet access in your room or the key to the refrigarator with all the little goodies you will need at least a 50 dollar deposit.
