We are staying in a two-bedroom next month with my parents. Are we able to put their charges on their room keys and our charges on our room keys, when we are staying in the same place? Is this possible?

It is our first time staying as DVC owners -- very excited!!!

The check in staff will place all the room keys on one credit card only. You can always ask that the parents' KTTW cards not have charge privileges, or put all charges on the one card and settle them up separately amongst yourselves later on. :)

You can go to the lobby desk the last night and have them sort out the charges and pay for some with one credit card and leave the others on the one that you left originally. My daughter and I have done this several times. Each charge is shown on the bill by which room card was used so it is easy for them to do.

We did as one poster already said..........my in-laws room keys had no charging privilages so he paid for things with his own credit card. It easier this way than having the front desk sort your room charges.

The only time this may not work, is when you reach a certain dollar amount of charges on your account. At that point the Resort actually runs through a charge on the credit card left on account. Then they put a "hold" on the card again and accumulation of charges begins once again.

I would double check on what that amount will be for your particular card and situation. With at least 4 people charging on it, it can run up fast! Good luck!

This is what we did, too. My husband and I had the ability to charge but not any of the relatives we had stay with us in the 2 bedroom villa. It worked out fine.
