Can you charge back merchandise and food to your room key if you are staying on property at one of the Disney.

What about “good neighbor” hotels?

We stayed at DLH during Feb / Mar this year. I charged absolutely everything back to the room. We had a credit card swiped to open the account but paid everything with traveller's cheques. Never heard anything about limits though.

One of the most useful things we found about staying at an on-site hotel was being able to have any purchases delivered back to the hotel. It was great to be able to buy whatever we saw and not have to worry about lugging bags around for the rest of the day.

id say, someone see how high you can go.

;) ;)

i kid i kid, bad idea.

btw, i think you can a charge card, not the roomkey. If the room key has 18 digit #, then that # works, though they are crappy swipers, tell CM to dont bother swiping and enter the #s manually.

in WDW the limit is set at $1000, do you know what it is for DL?

Actually in WDW it depends on the resort what the "limit" is, but there really isn't a "limit"at all. At WDW I have always been given a limit of $1500 but if you reach that limit they will charge it to your credit card and then you start over at $1500. Three years ago I stayed at the Grand Californian and I could charge back to the room the limit was $2000 but you couldn't use your room key, they gave me another card at check in and I also had to show my room key and my Drivers License, I hope they have changed that as I am going back to DL this summer and it was a hassle to charge to the room so I just used my credit cards.
