Room Change Request

Hi, I am booked on the Wonder for a Category 11 room for this August. I did a stateroom review and found out the room that I've been assigned to is above the kids's activity area. I called in for a room change request, and they told me nothing else is available. I asked about a waiting list, and was told it does not exist. They advised me to call back periodically to see if there has been any cancellations. Has anyone gone through this? If they are already fully booked for this sailing at this point, what are my chances of catching a cancelation that has not been snapped up, short of calling in day by day?

Have you tried DCL online, to see what may be available? Make a pretend reservation by going through the motions. IF cabins show up, I would call and let them know their numbers.

I've been told the same thing. We've been assigned a cabin on the Panama repo cruise which is sold out. They state they cannot waitlist us for a specific cabin in the same category., but to call back periodically to see if any thing opens up. Guess I have to keep checking for 1 and 1/2 yrs
