Room Change afer booking

I just booked the AKL w/ my AP discount for 4/28-5/5. With the AP discount they only had standard view available. Is there a way to upgrade the room, to maybe a savanna view, I would be willing to pay the difference in the room views, if I dont lose my discount. Does anyone know if DIS does this?

I am not 100% positive, but I don't think you can upgrade without losing your discount.

I am pretty sure it depends on the room availability of the upgrade.
