Room block questions

The number one question from guests who have been to our website is what is the deadline for booking rooms in the room block? I would like to update the site with a deadline but not sure what makes sense because I do not want everyone waiting until the last possible date (but I already know they will do that either way, I am sure). Also, what is the role of a room block coordinator and when/will one be assigned?

The unreserved rooms in your block will be released 30 days out. However, I think your instinct to give them another deadline is sound, since 60 days out is your last chance to drop unnecessary rooms from the block. So you might give them a date that's about 65 days out.

The room block coordinator keeps track of the bookings in your block and can send you reports that show who is booking and where. This is also who you talk to if your guests book at Disney without going through your block (like if they have DVC or use a travel agent), because you can give him/her their reservation numbers to have those nights count toward your minimum guarantee.
