Room Block Question

I don't think that you can block out actual cabins, but if any of your guests would like to stay there, they can and it will be applied to your room night minimum. You'll just have to make sure that they provide you with their reservation number so that you can provide it to your planner.

Just backing this up - that's the answer we got as well! :thumbsup2

another question about room blockes. Do I actually have to set one? We will have no trouble hitting the room block min. of 25 nights but they will almost all be through DVC. I was wondering if I will still get the free comp night if nobody actually stays in the room block? Thanks DisBrides for all the info.

Yes - as long as your guests' reservations are linked to your wedding master account (you can give their DVC ressie numbers to your sales consultant to be added), you will get the free night if they fill 25 nights at ANY Disney resort - it doesn't have to be one of the ones in your block.

And yes, you do have to set one up, so Disney can keep track. :thumbsup2

Do you have to use the free night during your wedding stay or can you save it for a future date?

You have to use it during your wedding stay. We used ours on our last night - could you tack it on to the beginning or end of your vacation?

Thanks for the answer, well I guess we could just add another day...although I had the four days set aside in my mind already...I guess we could just make it five days.
