Room ? at Poly and what do ya think about switching to Y/B?

Heading down the week (Yeah) for what was to be a conference trip with my mom and now am joined by my Dad. Here's my ??

Currently we are at Poly garden view...mostly will be doing Epcot when not at conference (and lots of eating) Is it easier to walk to TTC or do monirail and switch. Whats a good location at the resort?

AND

Dad still would like to switch to Y/B resort...worth it or no?

If you are mainly going to be enjoying Epcot, I would try and book YC/BC. It is a very nice walk to Epcot from the resort, or short boat ride.

To get to Epcot from the Poly, you have to either take the monorail all the way around (about 20 minutes) and then switch at the TTC or walk - about 10 minutes to the TTC and board the Epcot monorail.

I would switch to YC!!

I find it quicker to just walk to the TTC and hop on the monorail to Epcot. Otherwise, you waste alot of time catching the monorail at the GCH and then stopping at the GF, MK, CR, and then TTC before making the switch to the Epcot monorail. Tahiti, Rapa Nui and Tokelau are the closest longhouses to the TTC. It's only a few minutes walk to the TTC and then about an 8 min ride to Epcot.

IF EPCOT is your major parkI 'd recommend the YC. It's a few steps farther to walk to EPCOT but it seemed to be a bit quieter than the BC. HTH

I have to agree with the others and if you plan to spend most of your time at EPCOT, then I would transfer over to the Yacht or Beach Club. It's a very quick walk to the International Gateway and just a shuttle boat away from MGM. There's also a boat that goes to EPCOT, but I found it was quicker to walk. Also, you're just across the way from the Boardwalk. It's not a very far bus ride to the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. The buses stop at the Yacht Club first, so I'm not sure if that's a factor for you or not.

thanks all. I tried to switch over but right now only water view w/ AP ...I'll keep trying. Until today their was nothing at YC or BC.
