room assignments

I know this has been asked and answered before but if we check in at 4 will we get as good of a room as we would checking in at noon? How about checking in on line, do they assign the room then? Thanks.

It is my understanding that room assignments are done approximately four days in advance of your check-in date. I remember reading that tidbit on here a while ago.....whether it's a correct tidbit is another thing. Hopefully the poster wasn't a bus driver since we all know how reliable they are with their info!

Some people say the earlier in the day you check in, the better for requests/room locations, but we have checked in at all times of the day/night over the years and it has never effected our requests/room assignments. We've never used OCI, so I can't help with that.

1) Yes.
2) No.
3) Maybe.
4) The rooms have been pre-assigned
. . . they are asssigned by computer 3-5 days ahead of check-in
. . . early check-in is for id & credit card, not room numbers
5) But, you can asked to be switched to another room at check-in time.
6) The earlier you check-in the more rooms to move to.
7) Also, earlier check-ins could have taken your ideal room.
