Water view can be a pool. lake. pond, fountain or just a glimpse of water from the balcony or window.

:goodvibes If you arrive early Saturday AM, more than likely a room will be available with a great water view. Most guests arrive on Saturday or Sunday, so lots of rooms available, since other guests are leaving. :drive:
We have always arrived on a Saturday or Sunday, in the AM.

Flights into MCO on Jet Blue seem less expensive on a Tuesday.:thumbsup2

:confused3So if we arrive on a Tuesday AM, do you think we would get a great water view room or just a room with a glimpse of water from the balcony or window ?:confused3

:boat: Has anyone ever arrived on a Tuesday and had a great or bad view from their room?

Thank you!

We always arrive mid week and have never had a problem with our view. But since what one person considers a "great view" may not be the same as the next person-it's a toss-up. I would also argue with your initial premise that you are more likely to get a great view just because you arrive on a weekend.

I am of the same opinion as minnie mum. Your odds are no greater, or worse, for a nice view on a Tuesday than any other day.

Never been a big view fan when it comes to a moderate, but the "River" view rooms intrigue me because I am all about location. Front of the mansions or the AB buildiings on the river are all great spots IMO.

They still have a separate "water" view as an option, which I would assume is probably pool?

Right now I'm booked in a preferred, but might consider a move.

Our last trip to CBR, we booked a waterview room, and it was a waste of money. If I opened our door, walked about 5 feet out, looked past the building posts and landscaping and zoomed my camera in, eureka! we could see water! lol. Sometimes it just doesn't work out, but sometimes it does!
I really don't think what day you check in matters all that much.
My advice is to expect nothing and then be happy with what it is. Not great when you pay extra for the "view", but I think it's a realistic way of setting expectations.
Wishing you a great view!

We usually arrive on Sunday and it has been a toss up. Once our room at BC wasn't ready until way after 5p and the lobby was BUSY-BUSY. They had some issue with the computers and couldn't tell what rooms were cleaned. The view we got was a woods view which was okay, but...... There was painting being done on the outside of the building. We woke to scaffolding being moved and saw workers out there all day long. So much for a view....couldn't even see the trees much!

We are arriving this year Monday evening and will see if it helps some with getting a better location and view.

I have booked a waterview room at POR several times now...guess I'm a slow learner. First time we were in AB, way at the back, and our water view was of a quiet pool....out in front of the bldg.
Second time we were in Magnolia Terrace....2nd floor. Yeah, we had a water view..if you went out of the room and hung over the railing you could barely catch a glimpse of the river.
Water views are way too general for me to ever book again.

This! I would never waste money on a water view room. Actually, we were "up graded" once to a water view at Riverside and there was no water anywhere close to our room. If you went down a path, through the trees and growth there was a pool, but nothing that could be seen from the room.

My money will go towards a preferred room because to me that's money well spent, but never to a water view.
