Room 8532 - Any with experience??

Hi, everyone-

It's been a while since I've been on the Boards, but it's great to be back!!!

Anyway, we're booked for our 4th (yes 4th!!) 7-day DCL cruise - February 19, 2005 (woohoo ) and finally upgraded from cat 6 to cat 3. There's five of us going - DH, 2DSs, and Dmother.

Would anyone who stayed in this cabin share your experiene - the good, the bad, and the advice - and how many people were in the cabiin with you.

We stayed in 8532 back in December. Feel free to ask away.....We had 2 adults and a 7 year old in the stateroom.

Did you like the cabin?

We have 3 adults and 2 children and were told there was a pull-down in the cabin along with the sofa bed. Is that true?

How as the noise midship and by the elevators? We've always stayed far aft, and our last cruise was forward - last cabin before the bridge. I'm nervous this might be noisy with it being midship and being under the arcade .

Anything and everything you want to share is appreciated...

Yes! We loved the cabin. It was gorgeous! The balcony is awesome. If they don't have a chaise lounge on it when you arrive, call the concierge and ask for one to be brought up. We did and it was great!
The pullout bed is in the living room with the pullout sofa. It was nice to have 2 TV's (One there and one in the bedroom).
We didn't get too much noise from the elevator area. There were a few times we heard noise overhead from the chairs being moved on the deck, but the arcade wasn't a problem. In fact, it is very convenient to just run up the stairs from deck 8 to deck 9 and you are right there at the arcade, pool area, etc.

We were in 8032, mirror image room. It was DS, DH, and myself. Wonderful room! There's LOTS of photo's on my web site in my sig.

We heard very little little noise from overhead--mostly ping pong balls dropping in teh afternoon.
