I was right across the hall in 6600---outside cat. 6. The location is good. Pretty close to elevators and washing machines (on the
Wonder), but not so close that noise was a problem. Never heard any noise from above or below.
We were in 6612 and 6614 on the Wonder and it was a good location. They were connecting cabins and I was very surprised to find that there was a different cabin stewart assigned to each one.
I can confirm that the verandas are open with plexiglas railings in that area, the metal verandas in cat 6 start at 6644, after the cat 7 navigator's veranda.
The cabins that used to be cat 6 but were reclassified to a cat 7 because of the partial obstruction on the veranda is 6634, and 6134 on the other side.
What ship and sailing are you on? The reason I ask is we will be sailing that exact room on May 4th, we leave for our land portion in 3 days. I will be posting a trip report when I return back, so keep an eye out for it!
Beware? Are connecting rooms a bad thing if you don't know the other party? Can you hear noise from the other cabin a little easier than if it wasn't a connecting room?? Thanks!
I have heard that you can hear the other party through the connecting doors a bit easier. We stayed with family, so we propped the doors open most of the time and I didn't pay attention.
However, I have also heard that if you are next to a noisy family, it doesn't really matter if you have connecting doors or not.
