Has anyone been in this room? It is an adjoining room. Does that really increase the noise level over a nonadjoining room? Any information would be appreciated! By the way, I need to make up my mind between this room (level 6) and a secret porthole room. There is about a 800.00 difference between the two rooms for a seven night cruise at Easter. Which room would you prefer?

I haven't been in this room. However, my brother (6066) and my Mom (6815) were in staterooms that had connecting doors. Both of them complained of the noise and that they could hear the conversations of the people in the next room. HTH.

Hi there. We were in room 6572 on the 4/27/02 Magic. It is an adjoining room; however, I never heard our neighbors. They were without children. I am not sure if they heard us or not, but we have a 4-1/2 year old son that is very active. We never got any complaints, and we made sure that we were very quiet by 10:00 p.m. I guess it is a risk, especially if you have people next door who are not very considerate of others. We had no problem though...we loved it. The verandah was worth the money for us, because we like to stay in the stateroom a lot. Good luck. I hope this helps.
