Anybody ever stay in this cabin? Pros/cons? It seems like a pretty good location. I have a price of $2000 for the 3-day cruise (3 adults one child) on 12/12 cat. 6 with verandah. Does this seem reasonable? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Seems like a good price. It is usually $1577 just for two adults in a Cat 6 for that time of year. If you have a third adult and a child, it seems like a good price.

It has a Plexiglas Veranda, it's midship, and the room doesn't have a connecting door to another room. Just about in the middle between the forward and midship elevator.

Seems like a convenient location and the price looks good.

I would say you did very well!

That is a great location. Who did you book this through? great deal. Enjoy :0)

We're about 26 doors down leaving on May 12. If there are any major problems, which I totally doubt, I'll let you know. We paid $2000 with no insurance for a 4 day cruise, 2 adults one child. I doubt you can beat your price, but always keep checking, the usually have fall savers. I was able to beat my price by $300 plus upgrade to a cabin with a verandah from an outside stateroom with porthole.

That sounds great price!, we are looking for great rates like that, please let us know where you got them from.

DH and I were in Cabin 6538 on the 4-day Wonder last September (just 2 doors down from your cabin). We loved the location! It was just the two of us (no kids), and we enjoyed being Forward on the ship. The Forward elevator took us right up to the adults-only pool.

We also enjoyed being on the Starboard side. The Starboard side faced the port, and it was fun to watch the people along the coastline as we pulled out of port. Everyone was waving! Also, the Starboard side was adjacent to the dock in both Nassau and Freeport, so we were able to watch people getting on and off the ship (and interact with the characters). The Port side was adjacent to the dock at Castaway Cay, but the Starboard side faced the family beach, and it was great to wake up, pull back the curtains and see all those colorful umbrellas!

The cabin itself was great. We loved the verandah! It really opened up the room (I was afraid that DH would feel claustrophobic).

It has a Plexiglas Veranda, it's midship, and the room doesn't have a connecting door to another room.
"Albiats" brings up a good point. Our cabin (6538) had a connecting door to 6536, and I wish it didn't. We had noisy neighbors, and the connecting door didn't help. I would imagine a solid wall might be a better sound-barrier.

I can't comment on the price you were quoted, as we are DVC members and cruised on points.

Thanks for all the great info everyone. The price was from right here e.g. Dreams Unlimited. We're very excited about the trip, its a combination 25th wedding anniversary (ours) and college graduation (for our daughter) celebration. It's probably our last "family" vacation all together. I'm waiting for some fall/winter package deals to book the parks part. I have an offer here for AKL @ $129/night but its only good thru 6/30. I've got my fingers crossed that something that great will come along again. I need a Disney fix bad.......on this day last year we were in Disneyland Paris :) It's so great to have something Disney to look forward to!
