I just looked in my passporter and read that this room only fits 3. I have 4 (2 adults and 2 children) - - Problem??
Also...this room seems to be one of the rooms to avoid - unfortunately, there are no more cat #9's left for me...Has anyone ever stayed in this room b4 so I can stop stressing. Although we are not in our room alot, we are spending alot of $ to be there and would hate to have a bad room.

I hope some of you veterans can ease my mind a bit.

Thanx!!!

Last week we were in room 2128, also a cat. 9. It was myself, DH and our 2 sons ages 10 & 8. It was more than adequate. It seems unusual that you would be booked in a room that accommodates 3 when you have 4 in your party, are you sure your booking agent knew about the 4th person? You should look into this further because, there will be nowhere for the 4th person to sleep!! We have a queen size bed, a sofa that coverted into a single bed and a single bed that dropped down from the ceiling at night. We really loved deck 2, found it to be convenient and though our room was also listed on the "noisy" list, we had no trouble at all. The only time I can say that I heard "bothersome" noise was on the last morning as we docked in Port Canaveral, but I was the only one in my cabin that woke up, and I am a very light sleeper (a mother's ears), so consider the source!!

I hope this information is helpful. Good Luck!

I was just wondering if you ever found out anything about this room. We just booked the October 16th cruise and this is the only room available right now. We also have 4 in the room, DH, Myself, 2 DS's. Anything you learned would be greatly appreciated.

theboysmom,
We are also on that cruise in connecting 9s...either 2148,2140 or 2146,2148...I can never remember. There are no other 9s left, or there are no other rooms left ? I've put in a request for midship cat 9s, am seeing what comes up at the 60 day mark...where did you get this info ?

I am cruising on DVC points and I think that they have limited inventory in this situation. I am not entirely sure. I have only looked into Cat 9 availability. I do not know if they are selling out of Cat 9's. When I inquired about the available rooms she gave me 3 to choose from (none midship). She suggested I call often to check and see if there is a change or check the Disney website and see what staterooms are available. I cannot figure out how to do this.

Hi wide awake and theboysmom:
We are on the october 16th cruise also in 2144 and 2147...we were told by Disney when we booked that the category nines were just about gone...for some reason they are really filling up! as a matter of fact if I wanted connecting rooms I would have had to go up to category five ...all the other connecting rooms in categories 9 8 7 and 6 were booked!

we were in room 2600 , no problem at all I don't know what is noisy about it. stop stressing and ENJOY

Thanks for the reply. I saw an earlier post questioning if this room slept 4. There are 4 of us. DH, 2 DS's (6 & 3) and me. Do you happen to remember how many this room accomadated?

Thanks for the input. Now I can enjoy all of the planning I have to do.
