Southern California Ronald Reagan Museum

We are coming from Las Vegas to Ronald Reagan Museum and spending a couple of days in the area before heading back to Vegas. Any ideas/tips/hints about doing this? We will have a car and hoping to find some interesting things to do while in the area.

Where are you staying & what do you want to see? There is not much else to do in Simi Valley other than the Reagan library. 30-45 min North is the Camarillo outlets & then Ventura Harbor. 30-45 min South is Universal Studios & then Hollywood.

We are staying the night in Simi Valley and we are thinking of heading to Ventura and Santa Maria. We have been to LA and thought we would try something up the cost a bit before we head back. Any ideas/tips/thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Santa Maria is way up the coast. Santa Barbara & Solvang are fun. They both have unique shops, restaurants, wineries. Solvang also has an Ostrich farm & a miniature horse farm to visit.
