This post deserves to be bronzed, for it will be the only time in history that the words "Huckabee" and "choice" will be used in the same sentence....
I just love that. Too funny. There have been plenty of Presidents and Vice-Presidents throughout history who haven't been able to stand each other. Kennedy/Johnson come to mind. I don't think Pres/VP have to be friendly eith each other to be good at their job. What do you guys think?
Well yeah. Clinton and Gore for that matter.........
At least the Oval office sink is clean.
It will be interesting to see who Al gives theto.

I didn't think a McCain-Romney ticket was possible before, but now I'm not so sure. I don't see what Romney's motivation for endorsing McCain is other than a VP nomination, unless he's angling for a cabinet or other position. You're right, I don't think they like each other much, but McCain could suck it up because he won, and Romney is too ambitious to turn it down. The flip-flopping of Romney will be less of an issue in the general election, particularly for a VP nominee, and honestly, their political views aren't that diffferent that they couldn't be melded into one ticket (not to mention, Romney is a chameleon anyway). I'm not a big fan of Romney, but I could support him as VP. And for some strange reason, the right wing nut jobs like him. WAY better having Romeny than Huckabee to appease the right.

Al is well respected and liked very much by most Democrats. His endorsement would be quite the opposite of what you describe.

I'm sure that on the climate change front, even John McCain would probably appreciate Gore's endorsement. From what I've read, global warming is something that McCain is very passionate about.

Not for the next 9 months he isn't.![]()

Are you suggesting that he's angling just enough to the right to get the vote, then he'll be back to tree hugging, Sam Alito hating, campaign finance reforming "Maverick" McCain that the media knows and loves? Perish the thought!!!![]()

Did I say all that? My, what a marvellous economy I have with the English language.
