Wondering how far the walk is from FCO to train. Guidebooks unclear. We are two active adults who will have one large rolling suitcase each. Manageable? Don't want to take a taxi if we don't have to. Thanks.

It is inside the same building, quite a bit of a walk but there are horizontal escalators to help you walk (not sure how they are called in English) so either you juist stand and then it will probably take you 15-20min either you walk on them and it will be more like a 10 min walk...

Memory is bit foggy as its been about 4 years since we flew into Rome/MCO (departed from a different city) but I remember it being an easy walk to the train. Maybe a ~10 minute walk through the airport. Just follow everyone else, most people will be walking there.

Thanks for your detailed information. I think they're called "moving sidewalks"? :flower1:

I don't recall it taking very long at all and it's all inside the airport. The signage IIRC was very good so we had no trouble finding it.

It might depend on the terminal you arrive at I just realise… cause about half way I remember different corridors coming together. I arrived from a European flight

It seemed sort of long, but not really longer than anything in the main Paris train station or trying to get to Magical Express at MCO. I don’t remember any stairs, so that’s a huge bonus. I remember well-marked signage. It’s been awhile, and jet lag always taints the experience.

Watch for people following you at the main train station. Some guy was either going to pick pocket us or take our luggage. We stopped off to the side to see if he was following us, and he continued with us once we started moving again. I just turned around and stared at him until he finally stopped. I was watching, always watching🤣

Very good point - we were coming in from Toronto (direct) and our friends were coming in from Florida but through Frankfurt where they changed planes. We were with Air Canada and they were with Lufthansa. They came into the same terminal as us (which makes sense since AC & LH are both Star Alliance) but one floor down. So it may depend on the airline as much as the location you're coming from.
