We are going in the fall with my inlaws. They have graciously offered to take the kids to Garden Grill while my DH and I have a dinner to ourselves. :cool1: Where should we go? We have been to Le Cellier and would like to try something else, a bit more romantic maybe. TIA!

Yachtsman Steakhouse in Yacht and Beach Club. Very nice place for dinner.

If it has to be in Epcot - Bistro de Paris. If anywhere in Disney I would vote for California Grill.

Hey, That's my bithday too! Only I turned 50 so I think she's a little younger than me!

Rose and Crown if you could get the outside lower patio area and time it right to see Illuminatons this is the best viewing spot. Make ADR's for about 7:30-7:40 and request that spot but is almost impossible to get.
Or San Angle you eat by candle light and if it wasn't for the candle you couldn't see the menu but me and DW always liked the place.

If it has to be in Epcot, then Bistro de Paris. That is about the only really romantic place there, as all the other restaurants are set up for big crowds with high turnover and will have lots of kids there.

However, the Epcot resorts are just outside the IG entrance to Epcot (less than a 10 minute walk) and romantic restaurants in that area include bluezoo and Shula's (both at the Dolphin), Il Mulino (at the Swan) and Yachtsman Steakhouse (at the Yacht Club).

If the OP wants something on the DDP, Bistro de Paris is not. Nor are Shula's or Il Mulino.

Yachtsman is, but takes two TS credits. Not sure what I'd do for one credit on DDP in Epcot. Chefs de France or Marrakesh, I guess.

I would not consider any place on the dining plan romantic, not even the 2TS restuarants in that area.

I'd pay OOP and go to Bistro de Paris.

You can't beat San Angel Inn for a romantic restaurant in Epcot.
And in my opinion you can't beat it anywhere on WDW property, even the signature places.

With the little river running next to you, the "mexican sky" above you (even though you are inside it feels like outside at night), the lights the ambience.....it is like you are actually in Mexico.
I highly recommend it for romance.

Look at the menu online though, it is more traditional in dishes, not tex mex style like most of the USA is used to. But the food is very good.

Chefs de France is not overly romantic - too small, crowded, hectic, and noisy. (Same goes for California Grill - crazy busy, loud, etc. If it were not on the top floor it would not be nearly as popular.)

Bistro de Paris upstairs is the only truly "romantic" setting in Epcot.

San Angel Inn is second by virtue of the ambiance, but it is still somewhat cramped space-wise and can be a little noisy if the pavilion has a lot of people in it - but if you can get a table near the river it is wonderful.

Tutto Italia is nice but not extremely romantic (would still be my choice after San Angel - it is about the same as Le Cellier for romanticism).
