Wifey and I are going this weekend for 15th anniversary sans kids. Hooray!!! We like dancing and are planning to go to the Dance Hall and Pleasure Island. We don't drink or smoke and don't like smoky places due to wifes asthma. Any input appreciated. We will have our own vehicle so off Disney area attractions are fine. Thanks to all the members who make this such a wonderful site.

My wife and I are huge fans of classic films. So we love to walk to MGM from BCV and have a "date" at the Brown Derby. We drink champaigne, eat the amazing Cobb salad (it's the original recipe, which is chopped so fine you can eat it with a spoon, and it's much better than what gets served at other restaurants today), and we split a huge chunk of beef with a couple of lobster tails. Afterwards we walk down the streets in the dark pretending we're in old Hollywood.

A romantic spot at WDW is the view of BW from the other side of the lake at night. The reflections on the lake are nice. You will be near there when you go to the Dance Hall, just a short walk, you might want to walk out to the dock area over there also. It is a beautiful area at night. The dock area I am talking about is near the Yacht Club.

It is also nice to sit on the beach at the BC and take in the sights from there.

Believe it or not, I have had my full of fireworks. So, one time, my DH and I went to the Patisserie, at the France pavilion in Epcot. We knew it was about time for Illuminations, so we sat at one of the little tables and ate our dessert. It was really neat to be tucked into the corner between the buildings, were we could see the relfections of the fireworks off the buildings and the Eiffel Tower, but not actually see the fireworks. It felt like we were in France on Bastille Day or something. We were the only people back there and it was so nice.

An Illuminations cruise for two would be outstanding. Great way to spend an evening.

Also just a stroll around Crescent Lake is very nice at night. It's only 8/10 of a mile but there is so much to see and do along the way.

Great point, it's one of the reasons we like BCV. The porch style swings out on the beach with the view of BWV is great. Martha's vineyard is nice and relaxing. There's parasailing for an afternoon adventure, I believe there is also still horseback riding. An afternoon at the spa also might be nice, with a massage.
