We are going to Disney within 90 days, and I want to have one nice meal with my husband while we are there, just the two of us. We are NOT on the dining plan as we are not staying on site :guilty: so I don't want to break the bank, but I do want something nice.
We are going at the end of Dec beginning of Jan if that makes a difference.

Just wanted to add that while I will eat almost anything, my husband will not. He is more of a chicken, meat and potato kind of guy. No fish, nothing with sour cream (wierdo, I know!), and nothing to spicy. Sorry if this makes it harder!!!!

Sorry to keep editing!!! I just wanted to add that though its OK if we have to go to one of the resorts for this romantic dinner, I'd rather have it in a park. Though I can't really think of any "romantic" resturants in any of the parks. Maybe the one in Canada?? Anyway, open to any and all suggestions, and I promise no more editing!!!!!

All of these are Epcot restaurants and won't break the bank:
Le Cellier- steaks, served in a wine celler
Coral Reef- seafood served under the sea, very cool
San Angel Inn - not your typical Mexican food served in a romantic atmosphere

Based on your husband's needs I would say to go with Le Cellier. We like Chefs de France. Fun for people watching, nice atmosphere and good food. Coral reef does offer meat options that are good, in case you want to try it without eating fish.

what about hollywood brown derby at the studios? at the resorts, artist point at wilderness lodge, jiko at animal kingdom lodge, grand floridian cafe at the grand floridian are all excellent choices. hope this helps.:yay:

OK, so Coral Reef and San Angel are out.

LeCellier is a good choice and so is Chef's de France. If you want either of these two book early, they will book up the first day of availability.

DisneyQueen - I can't PM yet because I'm so new!!!! Heres what I wrote...

Oh wow, thank you so much for that info. Last time we went down, we ate at Narcoossee's and liked it very much. My husband is just so picky, its really hard to find somewhere in Disney that has a main course he will eat.

Thanks again for the information! :goodvibes

Yes, I think Le Cellier in Canada should fit your needs nicely. Maybe Les Chefs de France in france. We personally love San Angel Inn for our "just the two of us" getaway, but your DH might find the food too exotic? ( but the atmosphere alone! ).
