Hello!

I've been left in charge of all the organisation for our trip (24/9 - 8/10 POFQ) and as it's 3 couples going (my mum + dad, Little Sister + Her boyf and me an mine) I'm arranging a 'date night'.

I'm sending my sister off to the California Grill round about fireworks time.

Should I send my parents to 'Narcoossee's' or 'Citricos'? (they want to dress nicely)

We're on the dining plan so V&A is out :'(

Any tips gratefully received!

ps. when I say 'left in charge' I obviously mean 'told them I'd do it as they'd only get it wrong'

San Angel inn is very romantic and one of the best themed places in WDW, if you are all old enough to drink there is also the wonderful tequila bar right next door. Also time it right for there and you can be out for illuminations. Mexico is a good spot to view them from.

We love Cali grill and seeing the fireworks from that view point was amazing, This year we have two ADRS so we can see hallowishes and normal wishes.

Never eaten at those other places but they get good reviews. We have an ADR for ohanas so we can watch wishes from the poly beach as its meant to be very romantic.

As for dressing nicely most places you will see people mostly smart casual wear. Normally DH wears linen trousers and a shirt and I go for a nice summer maxi dress. The only place you really have to dress up for is V&A.

Ooooh - what time should I book Cali Grill so my DS can see HalloWishes?

I am in POR from Sep.26th until Oct.10th :) Nice to see someone else from Leicester :)

Look out for a Tigers shirt lol

Citricos has outstanding food and service...
i've never eaten at narcoosees, so i can't compare...

but if you're on the dining plan, are you sure you want to go to signature restaurants?
seems like a waste of credits...

You would need to be booking for around 8pm onwards, they do let you leave the table to stand out on the viewing deck, though people are allowed back if they have eaten earlier if its not too busy.

Our ADR was just after nine last year and went out to see hallowishes before our meal had arrived. The fireworks started at 9;30pm. just make sure you get the right date otherwise it will be normal wishes.
